Hey there!

It looks like you live in the light blue cluster in building #8.

Scroll through this short guide to get started in your new apartment.

Your tutor

Patrick

Your cluster's "main tutor" is ready to help you. You are always welcome to contact your tutor if you need help with anything, such as general questions, social events or the rules of the dormitory.

Groups for you

Join one of the dorm groups to stay updated on everything that happens at the dorm.

Join your cluster's groups to stay up to date with your neighbors and talk about what's happening on your floor.

You can ask one of your neighbors if your cluster has a Messenger group. ;)

Read more about your cleaning team and how the cleaning system works.

The common areas of the cluster must be cleaned regularly by those living in the cluster. Everyone is part of a cleaning team. (Teams can consist of 1-3 residents, depending on the size of the cluster). You can see the current cleaning schedule in your cluster's common kitchen. It is your responsibility to ensure that the common kitchen is cleaned when it is your team's week to clean. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask your tutor.

It's up to you and your team how you clean. You can, for example, meet up and do it together, or agree on who does what. The most important thing is that everyone participates and that the kitchen is cleaned. It's also up to you how you get in touch with the others on your team. A Messenger chat usually works best. ;)

Remember that you must always clean after using the kitchen, even if it is not your team's week to clean.

When it is your team's week to clean, you must participate in the cleaning, even if you do not use the communal kitchen.

Everyone is responsible for cleaning common areas together with their designated teams according to the provided schedule. This is included in the contract you signed when you moved in. Common areas are checked on a regular basis. Failing to keep them clean could result in fines for the members of the current team.

Apps for you

The laundry at the dorm is provided by Nortec©. You can use the washing and drying machines by downloading the e-laundry© app:

You can also access Aptus Home© online by clicking here . You can log in with the username (a 4-digit number) and password that you received with your move-in documents. If you need help, don't hesitate to contact your tutors.

Wi-Fi at the dorm

A Wi-Fi network is available in the common areas and in most hallways. You can find the password in your move-in documents.

For your own apartment, an internet subscription is included in your rent. However, you will need your own equipment (Wi-Fi router) to access the internet from the network outlet on the wall.
