Will my tutor text me after I move in? It's important to know, that your tutor will not contact you personally when you move in. That is simply due to the fact that they don't have access to any of your contact information. Due to GDPR regulations, your tutor only has access to the official move-in-date (the one that is indicated in your contract) and the address where a new resident is moving into. Therefore, they won't know about your actual arrival, your name, phone nr, etc... However, your tutor will be more than happy to answer any questions you might have and show you around your new place, you just have to contact them first!;)
Groups for you
Join one of the dorm's main groups to stay up to date with updates/news/events happening at the dorm.
Join your cluster's groups to stay up to date with your closest neighbours, chat about what's happening on your floor.
Please ask one of your neighbours or tutors to add you to the cluster Messenger group!:)

Your team is required to clean your cluster's kitchen, hallway and common area every 3 weeks. Join your team's group chat below to communicate with your teammates about how you can carry this out.
You can find out more about how the cleaning system works, including which weeks your team has to clean and how the cleaning should be carried out. You can also find all this information in your common kitchen on the fridges. If you still have some questions, your tutors are always ready to help!
Everyone is responsible for cleaning common areas together with their designated teams according to the provided schedule. This is included in the contract you signed when you moved in. Common areas are checked on a regular basis. Failing to keep them clean could result in fines for the members of the current team.
Apps for you
The laundry room in the dorm is powered by Nortec©. You can pay for the washing and drying machines using the NortecPay© app.
You can open entrance doors, your own apartment door, set up a PIN code and manage your digital keys in the Aptus Home© app.
You can also access Aptus Home© on the web by clicking here. You can log in using the username (a 4-digit number) and the password you have been provided with your move-in documents. If you need help, don't hesitate to contact your tutors.
Wi-Fi at the dorm
A Wi-Fi network is available in the common areas and most hallways. You can find the password included in your move in documents.

For your own apartment, there is an internet subscription included in your rent. However, you need to have your own equipment (Wi-Fi router) to access the internet from the wall socket.

Tip: You might find cheap routers being sold by residents of the dorm who are soon moving out on Aarhus Kollegiet's buy and sale group on Facebook.

AARHUS Kollegiet is a part of Brabrand Boligforening (Brabrand Housing Association).
In case you need help with an official matter, you can call customer service or visit personally. You won't have to go far, as their office is right next door!:)
